FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday was not lost on the Arkansas men's basketball team as the squad visited the Washington County Juvenile Justice Center in Fayetteville Thursday afternoon.

Following a two-hour practice, players, coaches and staff of the Razorback men's basketball team arrived at the Justice Center and served Thanksgiving dinner, while speaking to those they served.  The Razorbacks stayed at the center for more than an hour trying to give back to the community and bring cheer to the lives of others.

"Reaching out to the community on a day like this where family and togetherness is so important is is special for us as a team," Arkansas head coach John Pelphrey said.  "This certainly shows us how fortunate we are to play for and represent the University of Arkansas at all times."

The Razorbacks are back on the court on Friday night when they host East Tennessee State at Bud Walton Arena beginning at 7 p.m.  For more information regarding Razorback men's basketball or University of Arkansas athletics, please visit ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
