115th Penn Relays this weekend

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 3 Arkansas Razorback men’s track and field will compete in the running of the 115th Penn Relays. Events will be contested Thurs.-Sat., April 23-25 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pa. The Razorbacks will compete in numerous relay events, Thursday’s distance carnival and select field events.

Live results and a live stream of Penn Relays events can be found at ArkansasRazorbacks.com and thepennrelays.com. ESPN2 will air events live Saturday, 3-5 p.m. CST. A complete meet recap will be available at ArkansasRazorbacks.com shortly after the final event on each day of competition.

Joining No. 3 Arkansas on the track will be No. 23 Auburn, No. 4 Florida, No. 5 Florida State, No. 22 Georgetown, No. 10 Kentucky, No. 6 LSU, Mississippi State, No. 7 South Carolina, No. 11 Tennessee, No. 8 Texas, No. 2 Texas A&M, No. 24, Texas Tech and No. 14 Washington.

Arkansas has a rich tradition at the Penn Relays. During their 24-year tenure at the meet, the Razorbacks have brought home 42 coveted wagon wheels. Only three times since 1983 has Arkansas not won at least one event at Penn Relays. In 2005, 2007 and 2008, the Razorbacks did not win a wagon wheel.
