2007-08 Hogs earn Academic Honors

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 2007-08 women’s swimming and diving squad was recognized Friday by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for holding the fourth highest GPA among Division I swimming and diving programs with a 3.54 GPA on a 4.00 scale. Yale finished first with a 3.603 GPA and was followed by New Mexico State University and Dartmouth University, respectively.

Individually, Razorbacks Stephanie Carr, Madison Palmer, and Ashley Largo were named Academic All-Americans for their classroom accomplishments in which each of them maintained a 3.50 GPA or above during the 2007-08 school year.

Also given credit for their academic successes were Arkansas swimming and diving’s Honorable Mention Academic All-Americans, Erica Totten, Erin Neumann, Emily Gregory, Summer Jackson, and Shara Sutphen.
