He was a member of The Associated Press Arkansas Super Team at tight end and defensive end for Coach John Vitale. He racked up more than 472 yards receiving and nine touchdowns in his senior season. He was a dominate blocker tallying nine pancake blocks, three champion blocks and a pair of deuce blocks. On defense, he made 49 tackles at defensive end. He racked up six sacks and 10 hurries in his senior campaign. He caught 12 passes for 210 yards and four touchdowns in his junior season. As a sophomore, he hauled in six catches for 63 yards and two touchdowns in a run-oriented offense. Rivals.com ranked him as the No. 14 tight end in the nation. The outlet also ranked him as the No. 5 prospect in Arkansas and named him a member of the HawgSports.com Natural 21 at No. 6. Rivals.com and Scout.com ranked him as a four-star prospect. Scout.com rated him as the No. 19 tight end in the country and the No. 5 prospect in Arkansas. Hawgs Illustrated had him ranked No. 6 among overall players in Arkansas. He is the son of Grace Walker.
