He was a two-way standout for MacArthur High School and Coach Brian Basil. A first-team all-district safety selection in his junior and senior seasons, he finished his prep career with 180 tackles including 56 solo stops. He racked up eight career tackles for loss, seven pass break ups, five fumble recoveries and an interception. As a senior, he was named the defensive player of the year for his squad and was a second-team Dallas Morning News all-area team member. He rushed 23 times for 124 yards and caught 17 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns on offense in his senior campaign. During his high school career, he returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and blocked five kicks (PAT and FG). The Dallas Morning News called him the “best defensive back prospect in the Dallas Area” during his senior season. The Dallas Morning News rated him as the No. 28 overall player in the metro area. Rivals.com ranked him as the No. 43 safety in the nation. The outlet also ranked him as the No. 72 prospect in Texas. Scout.com ranked him as the No. 65 safety in the nation and the No. 86 prospect in Texas. He chose Arkansas over Oklahoma State. He is the son of George White and Gertrude Harris.
