Lil’ Back Camp – K thru 2nd (grade entering)June 15-17Price: $759 a.m. – NoonCheck-in begins at 8:30 a.m. on June 15 at Bogle Park

This camp is geared toward developing the skills of the up and coming younger players. Designed for players in K-2nd grade, these sessions focus on learning basic fundamentals—throwing, hitting, fielding and base running through skill progression and fun challenges. A great beginner level camp!

All-Skills Camp – 3rd thru 8th (grade entering)June 15-17Commuter Price: $300Overnight Price: $375First two days: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Last day: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.Check in between 7-8:15 a.m. on June 15 at Bogle Park

Razorback Softball Camp has developed an all-skills camp for players in 3rd-8th grade in all experience levels. Sessions will focus on fundamentals—throwing, hitting, fielding, base running, positional instruction, and game competition. Sessions will also be offered on agility and strength training.

Campers are divided into teams for all sessions based on age and experience level. Our 8:1 camper-to-staff ratio also allows for more individualized instruction. Each Team will compete for the daily “TEAM” award, as well as in-game competitions, where they can put their newly learned skills into practice.

Razorback Softball Camp has created an elite camp for players in 9th-12th grade. This camp is designed for those who desire a higher level of instruction. Players will be divided into competitive teams for all sessions and sessions will focus on individual instruction—beyond the basic—and team strategy. Sessions are designed to teach players the skills that are needed for success at the next level. It is recommended that you have played at least one season on a high school varsity team or that you will be playing on your varsity team next year.

THINGS TO KNOW

Registration: Campers can only register for camps online! To register on-line, go to ArkansasRazorbacks.com, via the softball page (click camps link). You can pay by debit, credit card or check! There is a processing fee for this service. The deadline for registration for all camps is Friday, June 12, 2009.

Medical Care: All campers must have their own accident and health insurance. Razorback Softball Camp provides only excess coverage after your insurance has been utilized. A certified athletic trainer is available for all camp sessions. A CAMP WAIVER STATEMENT AND COPY OF MOST RECENT PHYSICAL EXAMINATION OR COMPLETED PHYSICIAN’S STATEMENT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL CAMPERS. Campers will not be allowed to participate without these forms.

Meals: Resident campers receive three meals per full day. Commuter campers will receive lunch and dinner per full day.

Roommates: Roommate assignments will be conducted prior to check-in. Roommate requests will be honored in most cases, but are not necessarily guaranteed due to space and/or number of requests for a particular roommate. We recommend you list more than one option for your roommate of choice.

Confirmation: Upon registration, you will receive all necessary documents through the mail. The confirmation packet will include check-in and housing locations, directions to Bogle Park, insurance request forms, a medical form, a list of what to bring, and additional information on the camp schedule.
