2010 Razorback Volleyball Camps

FAYETTEVILLE – Be part of the 2010 University of Arkansas volleyball camps as head coach Robert Pulliza and his staff host their second summer camp season in Fayetteville. Divided between four specialty camps, the Razorback volleyball camps are designed to help players and teams get ready for their upcoming seasons.
The summer camps begin July 5-7 with the Lil’ Back Camp, a three-day camp for younger players from 4th to 7th grade. This commuter camp is designed for campers to learn the game of volleyball. Sessions will run from 9-11:30 a.m. each day.
The All-Skills Camps will be held July 9-11 for players from 8th to 12th grade. This three-day camp is for players looking to develop their individual skills. Campers will be challenged in all aspects of the game by focusing on all the fundamentals of forearm passing, serving, setting, blocking, attacking and defense. To ensure a competitive atmosphere, players will be grouped with others of similar skill level and age range.
The Razorbacks will host a one-day Position Camp, scheduled for July 15. This camp will give individuals the train at their specific position, whether it be middle blocker, outside hitter, setter or libero & defensive specialist. The day-long training will be split into three sessions (9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 2-4:30 p.m.; 5:30-7:30 p.m.).
The final dates of the camp schedule are for Team Camp. The first session, held July 12-14, is open to JV and Varsity teams, and the second session, held July 16-18, is for Varsity teams only. This camp will give teams the opportunity to train and prepare for the upcoming season while developing a chemistry of being on the court together. After the scrimmage and “team” practice schedule, the camps will end with a tournament. Each team must be accompanied by a coach with a minimum of nine players.
All 2010 Razorback volleyball camps will be held at Barnhill Arena on the University of Arkansas campus. For questions or more details, contact camp director Jenny Kirk or visit the Razorback camp home page at
