2014-15 @RazorbackWBB Schedule Unveil

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 2014-15 University of Arkansas women’s basketball season is still a long ways off but it is never too early to start talkin’ hoops.

Each Monday, we are going to profile one of the teams who are expected to be on the Razorbacks’ schedule this year.  First-year head coach Jimmy Dykes and his staff have worked hard to create a competitive non-conference schedule that will excited fans and prepare the Razorbacks for the always-grueling test that the Southeastern Conference will bring after the holidays.

Check back with us each Monday as we unveil another team who is on the horizon for Arkansas.  Remember, this is not meant to be the complete schedule and that the teams mentioned in these stories are subject to change as are the suggested play dates.  Please check after the complete official schedule is released.

GAME THREE Of 2014-15
The season will continue in November when @RazorbackWBB hosts Middle Tennessee State.  The Razorbacks are a perfect 3-0 against the Raiders in program history.  The first meeting came in 1983 when Arkansas eeked out a one-point, 73-72, win over MTSU.

The next two meetings were back-to-back in 2010 and 2011 with Arkansas winning both meetings.  The first of those games was a 20+ point win for Arkansas but the most recent game was a close contest in Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Arkansas had to come from behind to get the victory.

The Razorbacks and Jimmy Dykes face the Blud Raider for the first time in program history.

So what do we know about the Blue Raiders?
