2015 Football Special Event Dates Announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas will host several special events surrounding the 2015 football schedule, including Homecoming Weekend for the UT-Martin game on Saturday, Oct. 31.

The home schedule kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 5 when the Razorbacks host UTEP. The opening weekend will be the university’s Hall of Honor weekend where several former Arkansas student-athletes and coaches will be recognized for their success on the field and for what they’ve given back to the university. The inductees will be honored in a ceremony on Friday, Sept. 4 and also recognized during the football game against UTEP. The season opener will also be Arkansas’ annual Military Appreciation game.

Arkansas will host Texas Tech on Saturday, Sept. 19, which will also serve as Family Weekend for the university. Families of Arkansas students are encouraged to spend the weekend in Fayetteville and enjoy several activities including the Pi Beta Phi 5k, sporting events, live shows and more before the Razorbacks host the Red Raiders.

Homecoming Weekend will be celebrated on the weekend of Oct. 31 as Arkansas hosts UT-Martin. Arkansas graduates are encouraged to return to The Hill to join former classmates and all Razorbacks for a special weekend in Fayetteville. Homecoming week will be filled with fun activities, including the annual Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally on Friday night, Oct. 30.

The regular season wraps up on Nov. 28 as Arkansas will host Senior Day for the home finale against Missouri. The Razorbacks will honor several seniors before the game, including quarterback Brandon Allen and running back Jonathan Williams. Senior members of the Razorback Spirit Squads and Razorback Marching Band will also be recognized.

Season ticket orders are now being accepted for the 2015 season at ArkansasRazorbacks.com and start at $300 in Fayetteville. The 2015 home schedule is highlighted by 2013 national runner-up Auburn and Orange Bowl-participant Mississippi State, who was ranked No. 1 in the country for multiple weeks last season. The home slate concludes with two-time defending SEC East champion Missouri.

Tickets for Arkansas vs. Toledo in Little Rock have been set at $55 this year, which is $10 less than last year’s game at War Memorial Stadium.
