2015 SEC Network Soccer Coverage Announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Southeastern Conference has released the fall SEC Network television schedule and it will feature a pair of Arkansas Soccer matches.

The SEC Network will continue to elevate the coverage of the Razorbacks as they are on the heels of the program’s first back-to-back winning seasons since the 2008, 2009 seasons and second consecutive bid to the NCAA Tournament. Arkansas’ home contests against Mississippi State on Sunday, September 20 (12 p.m. CT) and Thursday, October 15 (6 p.m. (CT) will air live on the SEC Network.

The Razorbacks begin their 2015 campaign with a pair of road exhibition matches against Oral Roberts (Aug. 13) and SEC foe Missouri (August 15). The regular season begins the following weekend at Razorback Field when Arkansas hosts Stephen F. Austin (Aug. 21) and TCU (Aug. 23).

2015 Television Schedule Highlights Include:

• Thursday Night Soccer on SEC Network: SEC Network will air eight consecutive weeks of SEC soccer at 7 p.m. ET, capping the regular season off with a doubleheader Thursday, Oct. 29
For the second year SEC Network will carry the First, Quarterfinal and Semifinal Rounds of the SEC Soccer Tournament. The Championship game will air on ESPNU

The Southeastern Conference and ESPN have a 20-year agreement through 2034 to create and operate a multiplatform network which launched August 14, 2014. The new network and its accompanying digital platform carry SEC content 24/7 and featured more than 1,000 live events the first year. The network televises over 45 SEC football games, more than 100 men’s basketball games, 60 women’s basketball games, 75 baseball games, and events from across the SEC’s 21 sports annually. Programming includes in-depth commentary and analysis in studio shows, daily news and information, original content such as SEC Storied, spring football games, and more.
