#23 Arkansas Set to Face Hawaii in Honolulu


HONOLULU, Hawaii. – The No. 23 Arkansas Razorback tennis team (9-2) travels to Hawaii this week to take on the Hawaii Warriors Friday, March 12 at 1 p.m. in an effort to pick up its 10th win of the season and set a milestone 219th victory for head coach Robert Cox.
After defeating then No. 21 Georgia 4-3, Cox picked up his 218th all time win as the Razorbacks head coach tying him with former head coach Tom Pucci. Cox stands at 218-184 in 17 seasons as the Razorbacks head tennis coach.
Hawaii has a record of 3-8 on the season with some of its losses coming to No. 24 Texas, No. 6 Rice, and No. 5 Stanford. It has defeated Saint Louis, Nevada, and Gustavus Adolphus. The Warriors have a young team with one sophomore and seven freshmen.
Arkansas will face Hawaii with Adrians Zguns, No. 8 in the nation, and Nathan Price, No. 54 in the nation. Zguns has a record of 25-5 on the season and is the highest ranked player in the SEC, while Price is 24-7 with a win over then No. 4 Bo Hodge last week. Sophomore Rohan Gajjar is now 11-8 on the season after winning his last three matches at the four spot.
When the Hogs return they will travel to Nashville, Tenn., to dive back into SEC play when they take on Vanderbilt on March 19 at 2 p.m.
