2010: Becca Carden appeared in 49 games as a junior for Arkansas with 38 starts. Carden finished the year with six multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games. She set career highs in games played (49), runs (14), hits (27) and RBI (19). She broke out of a an 0-for-11 slump to start the season with a 3-for-4 day with 3 RBI and a home run against Sam Houston State in Denton, Texas. Carden paced the team at the North Texas/Sleep Inn Classic going 5-for-10 including a double and four runs batted in. She drove in the game winning run with a single to lead the Razorbacks 4-2 win over Southeast Missouri State. She batted .308 in the first five games of SEC play. Carden doubled home the go-ahead runs in the fifth inning against Mississippi State (March 28), giving Arkansas a 15-13 lead. She collected her fourth multi-hit game of the season in game two against LSU. Carden broke open the game against Memphis with a pinch-hit, three-run triple in the fourth inning. She went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the series against Alabama including a two-run single as the pinch hitter to tie the finale. She collected her second home run of the season in series opener against Auburn (May 8).

2009: Carden appeared in 21 games during her sophomore campaign, making her solo start in Arkansas’ game against Fordham during the FAU/FIU Strike Out Cancer Tournament. Utilized primarily as a pinch runner, she scored seven runs and totaled three stolen bases.  Carden picked up her first hit of the season, a single up the middle, in game two of a doubleheader against Missouri-Kansas City. For her work in the classroom, she was named to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2008: Carden redshirted during the 2008 season.

PRIOR TO ARKANSAS: Carden transferred to Arkansas from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where she played outfield. Carden boasted a .450 batting average with seven home runs. She was named an All-American after leading the Lady Norse to a fourth-place finish at nationals. A 2006 graduate of Miami High School, Carden had a career batting average of .517 with 75 hits and 43 runs as a three-year letterwinner.

PERSONAL:
Born Nov. 29, 1987, she is the daughter of Pat and Carol Carden. She has two brothers, Steven and Philip, and one sister, Emily. Carden’s father played baseball at Texas Christian University. Carden is majoring in kinesiology.
