AS A JUNIOR (2011-12): Ward was another solid component to the Razorbacks during his junior year. Going 14-15, his win total was good for third on the team behind only then-seniors Nikolas Zogaj and Matt Walters. Ward actually got most of his playing time in the spring where he was 11-10 and was a solid No. 5 player, winning five matches. Towards the end of the year, Ward moved up to play a number of matches at the No. 4 and even No. 3 positions. Ward went 3-0 at the No. 4 spot and finished 2-2 at No. 3. He was also one of the few players to win more than one conference match, joining Zogaj and Manfred Jeske. Ward helped Arkansas to its first conference victory since 2010 when he defeated Vanderbilt's Joe Dorn, 6-3, 6-1. His second league victory came against Auburn's Lucas Lopasso when Ward walked away with a gutsy, 7-5, 7-6 win. The win against Lopasso actually started a small winning streak for Ward as he went on to win four of his next five matches against Wichita State, Southern Miss, Lamar and UMKC. In doubles, Ward saw a little bit of time making spot starts for the Razorbacks when needed. He compiled a 9-8 individual record after teaming up with Mike Nott and Nikolas Zogaj on multiple occasions. His doubles play during the spring was strictly with Zogaj where the two went 1-3 in dual play including one conference win, but back in the fall Ward teamed up with Nott and went 4-0 in the Purdue Invitational to claim the doubles title at that tournament. Ward will return for his senior season as one of the most experience players on the team along with Gregoire Lehmann.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Ward followed up his solid freshman year with, yet, another strong year for the Razorbacks going 15-17 overall and earning eight wins in dual play. Those 15 wins were good for tops on team. Ward, also tied for second on the team in conference wins (3). Ward's best weekend in singles came against Ian Chadwell and Rafael Rondino of Alabama and Auburn, when he swept both matches in straight sets. The match against Chadwell was especially gratifying as he won both sets by identical scores of 7-6(5). In doubles, Ward played the majority of his time with Nikolas Zogaj at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions. The duo went 14-9 together and was the only Hog doubles team to win double-digit matches throughout the year. The team also started the year winning 11 of their first 12 matches.
AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10): Ward began his freshman year by winning two ITA Central Regional Qualifying matches and an ITA Central Regional Championship match. In doubles, the Ward and Chris Nott duo went undefeated together with three wins during tournament play. In the spring, he began play with a win over Lloyd Bruce-Burgess of Cowley County Community College, and after a loss, he followed it up by winning four matches in a row. In doubles play, Ward gathered five more wins with partners Williams, Lehmann and Spinazze. The England native finished his freshman year with a singles record of 14-7 and a doubles record of 8-8. He tied Lehmann in second place for the most wins for the year (14).
