2012 || Thomas redshirted during the indoor and outdoor seasons.

AT MARCUS HS: In his senior season at Marcus High School, Thomas a member of the All-State First Team and finished in fourth place in the 800 meters at the state meet. He was the District 6-5A champion at 800 meters and had a runner-up performance in the event at the regional meet. In cross country, he helped Marcus to a first-place team effort at the Nike Regional and a 10th-place showing at the Nike National meet. Thomas left Marcus as the school-record holder in the 800 meters. He owns personal bests of 48.6 at 400 meters, 1:53.56 at 800 meters, 4:19 in the 1,600 meters and 15:52 over 5,000 meters. He was a member of the Lake Cities Track Club in Lewisville, Texas. Thomas also played basketball during his first two years of high school.

PERSONAL: Born April 3, 1993, he is the son of Jeff and Juwana Thomas and has a younger sister, Maya. Thomas plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering during his career at Arkansas.
