2012-13 Preview: Adds length and a shooting touch to the front court ... Athlon Sports preseason magazine named him Arkansas’ top newcomer for this year ... stole seven balls on the Italy tour and shot nearly 50 percent in Italy ... according to Coach Anderson “he is an energy guy. A 6-8 skill player whose motor never stops. On defense he deflects balls, can rebound the basketball and really passes well for a big guy. He is a streaky guy in terms of scoring, but can run the floor and is very versatile.’ In High School: Averaged 22.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a senior at Central Park Christian HS … was pivotal in Central Park Christian’s NACA National Championship run in 2011 averaging 13 points and five rebounds … two-time all-tournament team … MVP as a senior … signed with the Razorbacks after also considering Alabama and Richmond. Personal: Son of Karen Johnson and Sharen Williams … born June 12, 1994 … he is majoring in communications. |
