FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas men's tennis team wrapped up play at the Napa Challenge with four more singles victories. The Razorbacks went 4-0 on Sunday to give them a 13-3 record for the weekend in Napa, Calif.

"Our goal for the day was to finish the tournament strong," head coach Robert Cox said. "And these guys accomplished that by coming out and playing some awesome tennis."

Junior Manfred Jeske went 5-0 on the weekend, winning three singles matches and two doubles.

"I am so proud of Manfred for going undefeated this weekend," Coach Cox said "He played some strong tennis all weekend."

Junior Mike Nott closed the tournament with a thrilling three-set victory over Cal Poly's Jordan Bridge 7-6 (4), 3-6, 7-5. Nott finished the tournament with a record of 4-1, with two singles victories and two doubles.

Both senior Gregoire Lehmann and junior Hall Fess closed their tournament with wins over some tough singles competition. Lehmann defeated Cal Poly's Marco Comuzza 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 while Fess defeated Oklahoma State's Trevor Horstman 6-3, 6-3. Like Nott, Lehmann and Fess finished the tournament with an overall 4-1 record.

"I was very pleased the way we finished out the tournament," Coach Cox said. "We are now looking forward to next weekend and getting to play some more tennis."

Arkansas will be back on the court next weekend when they travel to Statesboro, Ga., to play in the Georgia Southern tournament.
