MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Arkansas men's tennis team were challenged on the courts today at the ITA Central Regional Championships at the Baseline Tennis Center.
After advancing past the round of 64 yesterday, junior Mike Nott dropped a tough match to Drake's Robin Goodwin in the round of 32. Senior Gregoire Lehmann, who also advanced to the round of 32 dropped his match to Minnesota's No.6 Rok Bonin 6-1, 6-2.
Junior Manfred Jeske was the only Razorback to record a singles victory on the day. Jeske defeated St. Louis's Bobby Kidera in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.
In doubles junior Hall Fess and Lehmann fell in the round of 16 to a strong Oklahoma duo of Formentera and Warden 8-4.
