Evanston, Ill. - Sophomore's Jovan Parlic and Victor Hoang went undefeated on day on one at the Northwestern Wildcat Invitational.
"I am so proud of these two young men today," head coach Robert Cox said. "They played some quality tennis and came out with four victories."
In singles play, Parlic defeated Toledo's Weigand 6-3, 6-2, while Hoang took down Toledo's Wareti 6-4, 6-2.
The duo then paired up in doubles play and defeated a strong Marquette team consisting of Hernani and Skylr 8-2, followed by another doubles win over Western Michigan's Cahn and Indre 8-6.
Singles play continues tomorrow at 11 a.m. with Parlic talking on Northwestern's Balaji and Hoang playing Marquette's Packowitz at 12:30 p.m.
