2013 || INDOOR: Did not compete (redshirt). OUTDOOR: Did not compete during collegiate season (redshirt)…finished third at the USA Junior Championships with final clearance of 2.12m/6-11.5 in the high jump.

AT THE WOODLANDS HS: As a senior at The Woodlands High School, LeGassey was the Region II-5A champion in the high jump after a runner-up finish in the event at the District 14-5A meet. He went on to finish in fifth place at the 2012 UIL Texas 5A State Championships. Earlier in his senior campaign, LeGassey established a personal-best clearance of 6-10 at the Kingwood Park Meet. During his junior season for the Highlanders, LeGassey was the District 14-5A champion and went on to finish in fourth place at the Region II-5A Championships. He was the district runner-up in high jump as a freshman and sophomore for The Woodlands. At the 2011 Nike High School Track and Field National meet, LeGassey turned in a third-place performance.

PERSONAL: Born May 20, 1994, he is the son of Ernest and Joy LeGassey, and has one older sibling, Kimbery. LeGassey was high school teammates with current Razorback All-Americans Drew Butler and Travis Southard.
