FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Thursday to discuss the Razorbacks' upcoming game against Vanderbilt scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena.

"It's a quick turnaround and we got back in late last night from the Texas A&M game," Anderson said. "When you get into league play you've got to defend the home turf so this is a big and important game for our basketball team for many reasons."

Anderson spoke about what he expected of the Razorbacks (9-5) coming into the second game of Southeastern Conference play. He talked how the Razorbacks need to become more mentally tough.

Anderson then answered questions from the media about playing defending SEC champion Vanderbilt, on returning to Bud Walton Arena and on Anthlon Bell and Marshawn Powell.
