Arkansas jumps three spots to No. 9

Fayetteville – The University of Arkansas Gymnastics team moved up three spots to No. 9 in this week’s Gyminfo Women’s Gymnastics National top 25 rankings. Current rankings are based on a team’s average total score, and the Razorbacks have a 195.775.

In the event rankings, Arkansas is No. 8 on the beam with a 48.950. Arkansas is also ranked ninth on vault (49.100), 12th on floor (49.000), and 22nd on bars (48.725).

Individually, Katherine Grable is fifth in the nation in the all-around (39.450), tied for 19th on the vault (9.875), tied for 12th on the beam (9.875) and tied for fifth on the floor (9.925). Freshman Sydnie Dillard is also tied for 12th on the beam with a 9.875.

UCLA is No. 1 with a 196.788, followed by Michigan (196.738), Oklahoma and Florida (196.575), LSU (196.475), Alabama (196.450), Nebraska (196.300), Georgia (195.813), Arkansas and Denver (195.650) to round out the top-10.

Arkansas returns to the floor Friday night against No. 14 Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. The meet is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. (CT)
