BEYOND THE BOX SCORE: Mississippi State 47 - Arkansas 44

PLAYER OF THE GAME: Quistelle Williams was the lone offensive force in the first half for Arkansas, scoring eight of their 14 first half points. She had her fifth double-double of the season for the Razorbacks, finishing with 16 points and a career high 14 rebounds.

PLAY OF THE GAME: In the second half, Arkansas charged back into the game. With 13 minutes left, freshman Dominique Wilson drove the lane and fired a no-look pass to Sarah Watkins, who hit a layup to cut the lead to two. The play keyed a big run that got Arkansas back into the game after trailing by 10 at halftime.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME: Arkansas was cold offensively in the first half, but closed out the half on a 5-2 run. They came out hot to start the second half, hitting their first six shots, including eight points from Sarah Watkins. After a basket by the Bulldogs at the 6:12 mark of the first half, Arkansas went on a 24-11 run to tie the game at 33 with 10:33 to play.

UNSUNG HERO OF THE GAME: Sarah Watkins scoed a career high 28 on Thursday at Ole Miss, but had just two points in the first half. She came on strong in the second half, finishing with 15 points and carried the Razorbacks back into the game.

STAT OF THE GAME: Arkansas struggled shooting the ball in the first half, shooting just 5-24 from the field. They were much stronger in the second half, shooting 12-29 from the field in the final frame, and outscored the Bulldogs 30-23 in the second half. Unfortunately, it was not enough as Wilson's three point attempt at the buzzer just rimmed out.
