Baseball sets weekend scrimmage schedule

FAYETTEVILLE – The top-ranked Arkansas baseball team will hold its final three scrimmages of the 2013 preseason this weekend at Baum Stadium. All Razorback practices and scrimmages are open to the public.

Weather permitting, Arkansas will scrimmage at 3 p.m. on Friday, 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Following Saturday's scrimmage, the team will hold its annual "Meet the Razorbacks Day" at center court of the Northwest Arkansas Mall from 4-6 p.m.

The Razorbacks open the 2013 season on Friday, Feb. 15, when they face Western Illinois at Baum Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
