During her senior season at McIntosh High School, she helped lead the Chiefs to the Class AAAAA finals of the Georgia state tournament. From her middle blocker position, Jones finished the year with First Team-All-State and All-Area accolades. For her performance throughout the year, including a .421 hitting percentage, Jones was named the team's Most Valuable Player and a GVCA Senior All-Star selection. As a junior, she was a member of the All-Area First Team, earned All-State Honorable Mention and won her first team MVP award. Jones has club experience with both Tsunami and Atlanta Crush.
Born Aug. 25, 1995, Breana Nicole Jones is the daughter of Delphina Jones Turner and Barry Turner and has two older siblings, Brittney and Bryson. In the classroom, Jones is planning to major in elementary education at Arkansas.
