SOPHOMORE (2012-13): In her first season on the Razorbacks’ roster Jordan earned All-America honors in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a personal-best 16:04.06 and a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships. Her NCAA performance topped her SEC performance with a 9.80 improvement, helping the Razorbacks to a 26th-place national finish. Jordan also represented the Razorbacks at NCAAs in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. In dual-meet action Jordan recorded six event wins to help Arkansas to a 10-1 season, matching the school record. She swam a personal-best time of 4:43.74 in the 500 freestyle at the NCAA Championships. Adding to her accomplishments, Jordan recorded the second-best time in school history in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 9:43.97 at the SEC Championships. Though primarily competing in the freestyle events, Jordan tried her hand in the backstroke at the Houston Cougar Invitational and clocked a 55.68 in the 100 backstroke and a 1:58.49 in the 200. 

AT INDIANA: Jordan competed in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, posting a time of 4:22.71 in the 400-meter freestyle, 9:09.34 in the 800-meter freestyle, and 2:18.05 in the 200-meter backstroke. At the NCAA Championships, Jordan placed 20th overall in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 16:21.74. She also competed in the 200 backstroke, coming in at a career-best 1:56.22 and the 500 freestyle in 4:53.42. At the Big Ten Championships, she placed third in the 1,650 freestyle with a season-best time of 16:07.62, ninth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:41.86 and 12th in the 200 backstroke, touching the wall in 1:57.91. Jordan swam a personal-best 1:49.41 in the 200 freestyle as part of the 800 freestyle relay at the Georgia Invitational and she also posted a 57.27 in the 100 backstroke at Georgia.

PERSONAL: Jordan was born Nov. 29, 1992 to Larry and Sherry Jordan in Indiana. She is majoring in special education and social work with the hopes of one day becoming a teacher.
