FAYETTEVILLE - The first Swatter's Club meeting of the 2014 baseball season has been postponed until Tuesday, Feb. 11 due to inclement weather in Fayetteville. The meeting will be held at the Guest House International Hotel in Fayetteville.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Following lunch, Arkansas baseball head coach Dave Van Horn will speak to the crowd and answer questions about the upcoming baseball season.

The cost to attend is $12, which includes the lunch buffet and a drink. Future Swatter's Club meetings are scheduled for March 4, April 7 and May 5. March's meeting is being held on a Tuesday due to the Razorbacks' home game against IPFW on Monday, March 3.

The Razorbacks, who are one of seven teams nationally to advance to the NCAA Tournament in each of the last 12 seasons, are ranked 25th in the Baseball America preseason poll and junior second baseman Brian Anderson has been named a second-team Preseason All-American by Perfect Game.

Arkansas opens its 2014 season Feb. 14 at home against Appalachian State. The Razorbacks and Mountaineers play a three-game weekend series with game times of 3:05 p.m. Friday, 12:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:05 p.m. Sunday. For tickets, click here.
