FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas' soccer team swept both games of its season-opening weekend at Razorback Field and the Razorbacks look for win No. 3 on Wednesday when they play host to Missouri State at 7 p.m.
Arkansas is 2-0-0 after opening the year with Friday's 2-1 win over Austin Peay and Sunday's 1-0 shutout victory over Texas. The lone goal the Razorbacks have allowed came on a penalty kick.
Arkansas is 2-0-0 for the second time in four years and for the fourth time in program history, and looking to go 3-0-0 for just the second time.
Wednesday's Missouri State game is the third straight at home to open the season and several promotions are planned.
The first 500 fans through the gate will receive hand fans, the Kid's Zone will be open beginning at 6 p.m. and at halftime, fans will be selected to participate in the halftime Kick for Cash for a chance to win $50, and the winners of the signed program and Fan of the Game contests will receive prizes. In addition, the Razorbacks will sign autographs after the game.
Arkansas is on the road at SMU on Sunday and back home on Sept. 2 to face Kennesaw State at 7 p.m.
