2009 Outlook
A key component to Arkansas’ bullpen late in the 2008 season, Mike Bolsinger could see time as a starter in 2009 after a fantastic summer for the McKinney Marshals in the Texas Collegiate League ... Has an outstanding fastball with movement and sink as well as a tight slider ... Improved his delivery over the past year and is more of a pitcher and less of a thrower.

2008 (Sophomore)
Appeared in 15 games ... Tied for second on the team with four wins against just one loss ... Posted a 3.73 ERA over 31.1 innings ... Led Razorback relievers with 39 strikeouts for an average of 1.25 per inning ... Walked just 12 for a 3.25 strikeout to walk ratio ... Opponents hit .268 against him ... Missed the middle portion of the season to injury but was key to Arkansas’ run to the postseason down the stretch as a reliable arm in the bullpen ... Was 3-1 in SEC play with 18 strikeouts in 14.2 innings ... Against Pepperdine in the NCAA Regional, threw 2.2 innings of relief and allowed no runs.

Grayson County Community College
Posted a 6-1 record with a 2.93 ERA over 46 innings as a freshman ... Struck out 48 in 10 appearances, nine starts, walking 24 ... Led Grayson to its sixth conference championship in 10 years.

Summer Baseball
Pitched for the McKinney Marshals of the Texas Collegiate League in the summer of 2008 ... Named the TCL’s Pitcher of the Year after posting a 2.80 ERA over a team leading 45 innings ... Went 2-2 over eight starts and held opponents to a .161 average with just 26 hits .. Struck out 56, second in the TCL, while walking just 20 in leading his squad to the best record in the league.

North McKinney High School
Pitched and played right field for the Bulldogs ... As a senior earned second-team all-state honors with an 8-2 record on the mound and a .341 batting average ... Struck out 116 his final season and recorded a 1.66 ERA ... His junior season he earned a 7-2 record and a 2.30 ERA.
