OUTLOOK: Dick enters his senior season with 18 consecutive starts at quarterback. His 34 touchdown passes rank third on Arkansas’ career chart while his .544 completion percentage is seventh. He is also eighth with 268 career completions in 493 attempts for 3,270 yards. With a new passing game installed during the off-season, he could produce bigger numbers this year, especially if the spring is any indication. In the Red-White Spring Game, he completed 33-of-49 passes for 404 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. He had scoring passes of four yards to London Crawford and 11 yards to D.J. Williams. The game marked his third solid outing of the spring. In the first major scrimmage, he was 24-of-40 for 304 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. His TDs were 22 yards to Andrew Davie and 30 yards to Williams. In the second scrimmage, he was 26-of-39 for 309 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. He had touchdowns of 11 and 31 yards to London Crawford and six yards to Carlton Salters. In the three workouts combined, he was 83-of-128 (.648) for 1,017 yards and seven touchdowns with four interceptions. In the course of his career, the Razorbacks are 10-0 in games Dick has played and has not thrown an interception.

2007: He started all 13 games and was 150-of-262 for 1,695 yards with 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He had an efficiency rating of 126.63 and averaged 130.4 yards per game. Dick was fifth in the SEC and No. 62 in the country in passing efficiency, and ninth in the league in passing yards per game. His 18 touchdowns rank as the third-best single-season total in school history. His completions and attempts are seventh-best, the yardage total 10th and the .573 completion percentage ninth. In the final seven games of the year, he was 78-of-122 for 848 yards with 10 touchdowns, five interceptions and a .639 completion percentage. – For the second-consecutive season, Dick won his first season start at quarterback as Arkansas defeated Troy, 46-26, in the season opener in Fayetteville. He completed 11-of-20 passes for 108 yards. He completed a pass to five different targets, including picking up first-down yardage on five of his 11 completions. He wasn’t sacked and didn’t have a rushing attempt against the Trojans. Dick engineered eight scoring drives (4 field goals, 4 TD) against Troy. Dick tied a then-career high with three touchdown passes, going 11-of-23 for 145 yards in a three-point loss (41-38) at Alabama. He connected on scoring passes of 40 yards to Crosby Tuck, two yards to Andrew Davie and seven yards to Peyton Hillis. The touchdown pass to Hillis culminated a 21-point comeback and gave Arkansas the lead midway through the fourth quarter. He distributed the ball to six different players. For the second-consecutive game he wasn’t sacked. Dick completed 13-of-28 attempts for 157 yards in a loss to No. 21 Kentucky. The Wildcats intercepted him twice. He was sacked once and lost eight yards on two rushing attempts. His longest completion of the game was a 25-yard pass to Hillis. Dick tied his then-career high in touchdown passes for the second time in three outings when he tossed three scoring passes in Arkansas’ 66-7 win over North Texas. He completed touchdown passes of 61 yards to London Crawford, 37 yards to Robert Johnson and five yards to Lucas Miller in the first half. His 61-yard hookup with Crawford is a career-long completion. Dick completed 12-of-21 passes for 210 yards. He led Arkansas to points on seven of the Razorbacks’ first eight offensive drives. The 210 yards through the air was the second-highest output by the UA quarterback in his career. Dick led the Razorbacks to a second-straight non-conference win as Arkansas topped Chattanooga, 34-15, in Little Rock. He completed 13-of-22 passes for 116 yards and one touchdown. He found six different receivers with his 13 completions. He was sacked twice and intercepted once against the Mocs. Dick also was tackled in the end zone on the Hogs’ first offensive play for a safety after a shotgun snap sailed over his head. He connected with Hillis on a 24-yard touchdown toss in the first quarter. Dick completed 12 passes on 26 attempts for 111 yards and a touchdown in a 9-7 loss to No. 22 Auburn. His 13-yard touchdown pass to Lucas Miller gave Arkansas the lead with 96 seconds left in the game. Dick was sacked twice by the Tigers for a loss of 18 yards. He turned in one of the most proficient games of his career in Arkansas’ 44-8 win at Ole Miss. Dick completed 11-of-17 attempts for 96 yards and a then-career-high tying three touchdowns, and earned Hogwired.com Offensive Player of the Week honors. He completed his first seven attempts of the game, extending his personal streak at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to 19-consecutive completions after he closed Arkansas’ 2005 win with 12-consecutive completions. Dick hit tight end Andrew Davie for a pair of scores (1 and 14 yards) and Hillis for a nine-yard touchdown. He led the Hogs on six scoring drives, including five touchdown drives, in the blowout win. Dick was sacked only once against the Rebels. He also suffered an interception late in the first half on a Hail Mary pass. Dick became the only UA quarterback in school history to earn two wins against Ole Miss in Oxford. He earned his eighth-consecutive start of the season against Florida International. Dick completed four-of-six passes for 36 yards before leaving the game due to an injury. He also threw an interception in his limited stint. Dick suffered a mild concussion early in the second quarter. Dick played every offensive snap in leading Arkansas to a 48-36 win over No. 23 South Carolina. He led the Razorbacks on seven scoring drives against the Gamecocks. He completed eight of his 10 pass attempts for 86 yards and two touchdowns. He hit Marcus Monk for a four-yard touchdown on the game’s opening offensive possession. He later completed a 35-yard pass to Lucas Miller as part of a double reverse flea flicker out of the WildHog formation. Dick and the Razorback offense struggled in a loss at No. 22 Tennessee. Dick was 12-of-22 passing for 140 yards, and was intercepted twice by the Volunteers. He was replaced briefly by back-up Nathan Emert, but returned to the game. His longest completion on the afternoon was a 36-yard pass to tailback Michael Smith. Dick earned SEC and Hogwired.com Offensive Player of the Week honors for his record-setting performance in Arkansas’ 45-31 win over Mississippi State. The quarterback tied a UA school record by throwing for a career-high four touchdowns against the Bulldogs. He became the sixth Razorback in school history to accomplish the feat. Dick completed touchdown passes of 19 (Monk), 30 (Farod Jackson), 35 (Robert Johnson) and 57 (Darren McFadden) yards against the Bulldogs. He completed 14-of-17 passes for 199 yards, registering the third-highest completion percentage (.824) in UA history for 13-19 attempts. With the performance, he vaulted from seventh to fourth in the SEC in passing efficiency. Dick turned in another efficient performance in leading Arkansas to a 50-48 triple-overtime upset of No. 1 LSU in Baton Rouge. Dick came close to leading the Hogs to an upset at Tiger Stadium as a true freshman, but he finished off the task as a junior. He shared time at quarterback with McFadden, who took 33 snaps in the WildHog formation. Dick completed 10-of-18 passes for 94 yards and one touchdown. He didn’t throw an interception against the Tigers. His touchdown toss came on a 10-yard pass to Peyton Hillis in the first overtime period. Against Missouri in the Cotton Bowl, he was 19-of-32 for 197 yards with an interception and set career marks for completions and attempts in a game.

2006: After starting the season sidelined with a back injury and then biding his time behind freshman Mitch Mustain, he emerged as the Razorbacks’ starting quarterback down the stretch. He played in a total of 10 games, including gaining the starting nod in the Hogs’ final five games against Tennessee, Mississippi State, LSU, Florida and Wisconsin. He also played extensively in the Razorbacks’ win at South Carolina. He completed 65-of-132 pass attempts for a team-leading 991 yards. He connected on nine touchdown passes and was intercepted six times. – Dick sat out the season opener against No. 3 USC while nursing a sore back. He returned to the field in a reserve role in the Hogs’ win over Utah State. It was his first career relief appearance after starting his previous four games at the end of the 2005 season. He completed two-of-five passes for 59 yards against the Aggies, including a 38-yard toss to Marcus Monk. He didn’t play in the Razorbacks’ road win at Vanderbilt, the Hogs’ home victory against No. 22 Alabama or Arkansas’ upset of No. 2 Auburn. He saw his most extensive playing time of the season to that point in the Razorbacks’ 63-7 win over Southeast Missouri State. He entered the game in the second quarter and promptly led the Razorbacks to touchdowns on five-consecutive drives. On his sixth drive, Arkansas ran the ball on fourth down instead of attempting a pass conversion. Dick completed eight-of-nine passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns. He threw a six-yard pass to Chris Baker and a 15-yard pass to London Crawford in the win. He was sharp in his second-straight appearance in the Razorbacks’ win over Ole Miss. He completed two-of-three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown against the Rebels. He lofted a 45-yard touchdown pass to Crawford to complete the scoring in the victory. He completed two-of-four pass attempts for 17 yards in the Razorbacks’ 44-10 win over Louisiana-Monroe. Dick also had a career-long 13-yard run against the Warhawks. He came on in relief of Mustain in the Razorbacks’ 26-20 win over South Carolina. He entered the game on the Hogs’ second offensive series and played the rest of the game at quarterback. He completed 11-of-19 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown. He also threw one interception in the victory. He connected with Monk for a 50-yard touchdown at the end of the first half. He also rushed once for one yard in the victory. He started at quarterback and led Arkansas to a 31-14 win over No. 13 Tennessee. He completed 10-of-15 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown against the Volunteers. He connected with Monk for a 10-yard score in the first quarter. He also completed a 35-yard pass to Monk in the win. He made his second-consecutive start in Arkansas’ 28-14 win over Mississippi State. Dick completed eight of his 17 pass attempts for 112 yards and two touchdowns. He found Damian Williams for a 29-yard touchdown pass late in the first half to give the Hogs a 21-14 lead. He completed a 35-yard toss to Monk on the back end of a double reverse pass in the third quarter. Darren McFadden took the snap, flipped to Felix Jones, who then tossed it back to Dick. The UA signal caller delivered a perfect pass to Monk for the score. Dick struggled in the Hogs’ 31-26 loss to No. 9 LSU. He completed only three-of-17 passes for 29 yards, but did tally a touchdown pass against the Tigers. He found Monk on a 21-yard touchdown play in the second quarter. He suffered one interception in the loss. Dick earned his first career reception on a five-yard toss from McFadden. He completed 10-of-22 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown in the SEC Championship Game against Florida. He connected with Monk on a historical 48-yard touchdown play near the end of the first half. The 24th touchdown reception in Monk’s career set a new UA record, breaking the mark of Anthony Lucas. Dick also threw a pair of interceptions against the Gators with one coming on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half. He struggled with his consistency, completing only nine-of-21 passes for 98 yards against Wisconsin in the Capital One Bowl. He suffered one interception and was sacked once by the Badgers.

2005: In one of the most improbable rookie campaigns in Razorback history, he sat out the first seven games of the season before making his debut as the Hogs’ starting quarterback against South Carolina. He became the first UA quarterback in history to take his first collegiate snap as a starter. He started the final four games of the season against South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and LSU. He led the Razorbacks to wins over Ole Miss and Mississippi State. On the season, he completed 53-of-99 attempts for 584 yards and seven touchdowns. He threw four interceptions in his rookie season. – He made his collegiate debut as the Razorbacks’ starting quarterback against South Carolina in the eighth game of the UA season. He handed the ball off to fellow freshman Darren McFadden for seven yards on his first snap. He completed his first career pass on a five-yard toss to Cedric Washington on third down during the same drive. He finished the game with 137 yards on 12-of-24 passing and an interception. He connected with Peyton Hillis for four yards in the second quarter for his first career touchdown pass. He earned SEC Freshman Player of the Week and Hogwired.com Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Razorbacks to their first SEC win of the season at Ole Miss. He completed 17-of-24 passes for 175 yards and did not throw an interception against the Rebels. His .708 completion percentage tied for 10th on the UA single-game record list. His three touchdowns were not only then a career best, but the most by an Arkansas quarterback since Matt Jones tossed four against Louisiana-Monroe in 2004. He completed his final 12 passes and captained three second-half scoring drives against the Rebels. He connected with Marcus Monk for touchdowns of 23 and 24 yards. He also completed a four-yard scoring pass to Hillis. He led the Hogs to their second-consecutive victory with a 44-10 win over Mississippi State. He completed 12-of-23 passes for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He connected with Marcus Monk and Peyton Hillis for touchdowns while also throwing two interceptions (one on a pass batted down at the line of scrimmage). He nearly engineered an upset of No. 3 LSU before Arkansas fell 19-17 in the season finale in Baton Rouge. He was 12-of-28 passing for 148 yards. He threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Washington and connected on a 55-yard completion to Monk.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: He completed 133-of-248 passes for 1,942 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. He also rushed for 401 yards and eight touchdowns on 100 carries in his final prep campaign for Coach Tom Westerberg. He dislocated his peroneal tendon (or stirrup tendon) later in the season and missed his squad’s final two games. His team finished 9-3. He earned honorable mention all-district and all-county honors as a junior. He passed for 714 yards and eight touchdowns on 48-of-81 passing as a backup quarterback in his junior campaign. He also rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns on 37 attempts. He was selected to play in the Dallas-Fort Worth All-Star game. Rivals ranked him as the nation’s No. 13 dual-threat quarterback and as the No. 70 overall player in Texas. He was teammates with current UA defensive tackle Marcus Shavers. He was also recruited by Houston, Texas Tech, SMU and TCU.

PERSONAL: Born June 27, 1986, he is the son of Steve and Mary Ellen Dick. His brother Nathan is also a quarterback for the Razorbacks. He is majoring in political science. He was named to Arkansas’ Lon Farrell Academic Honor Roll for Spring 2008 and was a Hard Working Hog for the 2005-06 academic year.
