FAYETTEVILLE - Matt Vinson drew a two out, bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Cardinal team to an 11-10 win Tuesday afternoon in game three of the Cardinal-White series at Baum Stadium.

With the victory, the Cardinal team takes a 3-0 lead in the series. Game four is set for 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. Cardinal can clinch the series with a win.

With the game tied at 10 in the bottom of the ninth, the Cardinal team put together a two-out rally to pick up the win. Dane Phillips started the rally by doubling off the right field wall. After an intentional walk to Sam Bates, Jacob Morris drew a walk to load the bases for Vinson. Vinson fell behind in the count 1-2, but battled back to draw the base on balls and give Cardinal the 11-10 win.

Vinson also tied the game for Cardinal, hitting a solo homer to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning. Vinson finished the game going 1-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored.

Bo Bigham and Dominic Ficociello each had three RBI for Cardinal. Ficociello went 2-for-5, while Bates also had a pair of hits with a RBI and a run scored. Tim Carver went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and a RBI.

Jimmy Bosco had three RBI for the White team, finishing the game 1-for-4 with a run scored. Jake Wise homered and finished the game 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Matt Reynolds also had two RBI and two basehits.

Nolan Sanburn earned his second win in the Cardinal-White series, throwing a scoreless ninth inning with a strikeout. Brian Heldman took the loss, giving up two runs on three hits in 2.2 innings.

Michael Gunn pitched well in relief for Cardinal, tossing 3.1 hitless innings with a strikeout. Ty Wright also pitched well out of the bullpen for White, striking out two and giving up just one run in three innings.

Cardinal took the lead in the bottom of the first with a run. Phillips walked with two outs and then advanced all the way to third on an infield single by Bates. Morris lined a single to left field to score Phillips for the game's first run.

White tied the game in the top of the second. Brian Anderson walked to start the inning and then stole second with one out. After a groundout by Tyler Spoon advanced Anderson to third, he came in to score on a passed ball to even the game.

Cardinal regained the lead with two runs in the bottom of the second. John Clay Reeves reached on a fielding error with one out and then scored on a triple to center field by Carver. A groundout by Bigham brought home Carver to make the score 3-1.

White used an eight-run top of the third to take a 9-3 lead. Wise doubled to start the inning and then moved to third on an infield single by Kyle Atkins. Joe Serrano laid down a sacrifice bunt back to the mound, but Cardinal starting pitcher Logan Taylor threw the ball past Ficociello at first and down the first base line, allowing Wise to score and moving Atkins to third and Serrano to second. With one out, Reynolds drove home both runners with a single to left field. Reynolds then moved to second on a wild pitch, followed by a walk to Anderson. With two out, Spoon walked to load the bases. Bosco cleared the bases with a double to right-center field to stretch the lead to 7-3. Wise closed the scoring in the inning with a two-run homer to center field.

Cardinal answered back with five runs in the bottom of the third. Bates led off the inning with an opposite-field home run to left-center field. After the next two batters were retired, David Masters singled to left field. Reeves was then hit by a pitch and Carver walked to load the bases. Bigham also walked to score Masters. Ficociello drove home three runs with a double down the right field line, which cut the lead to 9-8.

Cardinal tied the game at nine with a run in the bottom of the fifth. Carver hit his second triple of the day to lead off the inning and scored on a groundout by Bigham.

White took a 10-9 with a run in the top of the seventh. With one out, Mahan reached on a fielding error and then moved to second on a single to center by Reynolds. Anderson drove in the go-ahead run with a single to left field.

Vinson tied the game in the bottom of the eighth on Vinson's lead-off home run just to the right of the batter's eye in center field.
