FAYETTEVILLE - Since joining the Southeastern Conference during the 1991-92 season, the University of Arkansas women's track and field team has won 47 SEC indoor event titles. The Razorbacks have had a least one SEC indoor champion in 19 of their 20 seasons in the conference. The team won a program-best five indoor titles at the 2000 conference meet.

Arkansas has won an SEC indoor event title in 11 of the 16 events contested at the conference meet. Last season, Tina Sutej won the pole vault with an SEC Indoor Championship record clearance of 14-10.75. The mark is also the NCAA collegiate record.

Four members of this year's team have won an SEC title during their respective careers. That list includes Gwendolyn Flowers (4x400m - 2011), Regina George (4x400m - 2010, 2011), Whitney Jones (4x400m - 2010, 2011) and Sutej (pole vault - 2010, 2011).

The 2012 SEC Indoor Championships, hosted by the University of Kentucky, will be contested Feb. 24-26 at the Nutter Field House in Lexington. The meet will air as part of a 90-minute show on ESPNU on Sunday, March 11 from 4-5:30 p.m. (CT). ESPN3 will stream the conference meet during the following times: Saturday, Feb. 25 - 1:05-6:30 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 26 - 12:25-4 p.m.

Kentucky will stream live the portions of the SEC Indoor Championships not on ESPN3. For more information regarding Razorback track and field or University of Arkansas athletics, please visit ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
