FAYETTEVILLE - Senior All-SEC quarterback Tyler Wilson leads off the final day of the 2012 Razorback Spring Football Preview as the fifth in a six-video series heading into spring practice. Wilson became the first Arkansas quarterback to be named first-team All-SEC with his 2011 performance, which included leading the Razorbacks to a school-record-tying 11 wins in his first season as a starter. Wilson was 277-of-438 passing for 3,638 yards and 24 touchdowns with just six interceptions, becoming only the second Razorback in school history to pass for 3,000 yards in a season. For Wilson's complete bio, click here.
In his video, Wilson discusses his leadership role and chasing a trophy with "some more crystals in it" after helping lead the Razorbacks to a Cotton Bowl victory to conclude the 2011 season. He also talks about his decision to return to Arkansas for his senior season and managing high expectations for 2012.
Wilson and the rest of the Razorbacks begin spring practice Wednesday. The Red-White Spring Game, sponsored by Cox Advanced TV, is set for April 21 at 2 p.m. inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The game will be shown on CST and available on ESPN3.com for those outside the CST viewing area.
