FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Five University of Arkansas men’s basketball newcomers gave a tour of Bud Walton Arena to kids from the Bentonville Public Schools on Thursday.
Razorback newcomers JaCorey Williams, DeQuavious Wagner, Anthlon Bell, Michael Qualls and Coty Clarke met the group in the museum area of Walton Arena and walked the concourse before bringing the tour down to the Razorback locker room and arena floor.
The five Razorback newcomers are a portion of nine new faces that could find time on the hardwood this winter. They join tested veterans in junior
Marshawn Powell, sophomore
BJ Young, junior
Mardracus Wade and sophomore
Hunter Mickelson among others.
The tour of Bud Walton Arena is one of several community outreach projects that the men’s basketball team has participated in since the end of the 2011-12 season. The Razorbacks will be active in more upcoming projects before the start of the fall semester.
