OMAHA, Neb. –
Susanna White of the University of Arkansas swimming & diving team completed Arkansas’ participation at the US Olympic Swimming Team Trials on Sunday with a 128th-place finish in the 50-meter freestyle at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb.
In an event which requires a great start, White’s 0.67 off the blocks was average compared to the field. She finished the sprint with a time of 26.79 out of lane six.
White entered the competition with the 97th fastest time, but was unable to match her career best in the event.
In other action earlier in the week, several Razorbacks participated in time trial races.
Chelsea Franklin, who participated in both the 400 and 800 freestyle, swam 2:18.69 in the 200 butterfly, a personal best.
Nikki Daniels posted her second best time ever in the 200 breaststroke at 2:38.40 and
Julia Kucherich posted a 200 individual medley time of 2:23.10.
