ELGIN, S.C. – Future University of Arkansas women’s golfer Regina Plasencia is tied for fourth after first round action of the Women’s Tran’s National Golf Association Amateur Championship in Elgin, S.C. Monday.
Plasencia fired a one-under 71 and is four shots back of the leader at the Members Club at Woodcreek and WildeWood.
Plasencia is one of two Razorbacks talking part in the event as future teammate and incoming sophomore Hally Leadbetter finished with five-over 77 and is tied for 35th overall.
Former Razorback Corinna Rees is tied for 47th overall with a seven-over 79.
