FAYETTEVILLE - First-year head coach Colby Hale and his Arkansas soccer team have a national television broadcast this season, the Southeastern Conference has announced.
Arkansas' Oct. 21 game at Mississippi State will be broadcast on ESPNU. Game time has been moved from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate the network.
ESPNU is available to more than 73 million households.
In addition, every ESPNU game is streamed on WatchESPN.
Additional television arrangements will be announced as they are finalized.
Hale is in his first season coaching the Razorbacks after spending the nine previous seasons at Central Florida, including the last five as associate head coach. Last year, UCF finished 13-5-6, reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament and ended the season ranked No. 12 in the nation.
Hale's first team at Arkansas is led by senior midfielders Andrea Carlson and Allie Chandler, and returning starters Chandler, Tyler Allen, Kaylyn Cooper, Jeriann Okoro, Beth Stratton and Sam Wolf.
The Razorbacks are in their second week of practice and open the season on Saturday with a 7 p.m. exhibition game at Oklahoma State. The regular season begins Aug. 17 with the first of three straight at Razorback Field against Austin Peay at 7 p.m., Texas on Aug. 19 at 1 p.m. and Missouri State on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.
