FAYETTEVILLE - The 10th-ranked University of Arkansas football team continued preseason practice on Monday with two practices, including a morning practice at the UA intramural fields and an afternoon session inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Paul Petrino talked to the media after practice and discussed the offense's performance.
"We had a really good practice this morning," Coach Petrino said. "I thought it was really sharp."
Coach Petrino also talked about the team's young talent.
"I'm really excited about the freshman class of receivers," Coach Petrino said. "There was some good things they did in the scrimmage. They have talent, but also have a great attitude. They're trying to be in there, trying to get reps and trying to learn and that's a good thing."
The Razorbacks continue practice Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the UA intramural fields. All practices held outside through Aug. 18 will be open to the public, but practices moved inside Walker Pavilion will be closed due to space limitations. The team is scheduled to practice at the intramural fields through Aug. 16.
