FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas swimming and diving team’s meet with national powerhouse Georgia, scheduled for Oct. 19, has moved its start time to 2 p.m. Razorback Head Coach Sean Schimmel announced on Thursday.
Last season the Razorbacks finished sixth in the SEC and return All-American Chelsea Franklin, who finished 10th at the NCAA Championships in the 1,650 freestyle. Other top returners include NCAA qualifier Nicole Menzel and junior Kesha Naylor, who recorded a seventh place finish at the Canadian Olympic Trials. Naylor and the diving team looks to keep up the momentum after pulling in their best-ever finish at the SEC Championships, where they tied for third place.
The Arkansas swimming and diving team returns to action in the Razorback Relays on October 6th as they host to North Texas, Vanderbilt, SMU and Missouri State.
