FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - University of Arkansas junior Chris Smith was named SEC co-Defensive Lineman of the Week, it was announced Monday.
Smith tied his single-game career high with six tackles to lead all Razorback defensive linemen in Arkansas' 49-24 win vs. Jacksonville State. The Mount Ulla, N.C., native also added 1.0 tackle for loss with 1.0 sack and one quarterback hurry against JSU to earn the first SEC weekly honor of his career.
Arkansas returns to the field Saturday when it hosts ULM inside War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. The game kicks off at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
