FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas football team practiced on the UA practice fields on Tuesday afternoon as it entered its bye week.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Paul Petrino spoke with the media after practice and discussed the team's goals for the bye week.
"Our goal is to get better," Coach Petrino said. "We need to go out there and improve every single day and build on how well we have played recently."
Coach Petrino also commented on the improvement of the offense since the beginning of the season.
"I think the offensive line has improved," Coach Petrino said. "We have only given up one sack in the last three games. We are also running the ball better and that is how it should be; we should improve as the year goes on. As a coach, that is what you want to see, your team improve throughout the year. We have improved, but we just have to keep improving."
The Razorbacks return to action on Saturday, Oct. 27 when they face Ole Miss inside War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Kickoff is set for 11:21 a.m., and the game will be televised on SEC Network.
