FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas football team practiced inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium Thursday afternoon as it continued its preparation for Saturday's homecoming game against Tulsa.
Head coach John L. Smith spoke with the media after practice and discussed the team's excitement to play in front of a big crowd for homecoming.
"It's going to be a pretty weekend," coach Smith said. "We have a big homecoming crowd coming. We are really excited."
Coach Smith also commented on the team playing well at home.
"We have talked a lot about our home turf," Coach Smith said. "We talk about defending this territory. Our stadium, our house, our home, you don't let somebody come into your house. Now we have to go out and play good."
Kickoff for the Tulsa game is set for 11:21 a.m., and will be televised on the SEC Network.
Tickets for the Tulsa game are still on sale for $45. Single-game tickets may be purchased online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com, in person at the Razorback Ticket Center or by phone at 800-982-HOGS.
