FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas football team practiced on the UA practice fields on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for its game against Mississippi State on Saturday.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Paul Petrino spoke with the media after practice and talked about how Tuesday's practice went.
"Overall, I thought the energy was great," Coach Petrino said. "We definitely need to come in here and get better tomorrow."
Coach Petrino also commented on the key for the offense to be successful this weekend against the Mississippi State defense.
"It is execution," Coach Petrino said. "If you execute well then you have a great chance to win. You have to execute the whole way down the field. That is something that we have to make sure that we go out there and do this week."
Kickoff for the Mississippi State game is set for 11:21 a.m., and will be televised on the SEC Network.
