FAYETTEVILLE - Former Razorback All-American gymnast Jaime Pisani is a candidate for a fan vote on InsideGymnastics.com.

The site has included Pisani, the 2012 Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Year, as one of eight choices for Favorite Female NCAA Athlete from 2012.

Pisani closed her career with a school-record 13 All-America honors. The 2011 South Central Regional Gymnast of the Year won 35 individual event titles as senior and a school-record 94 for her career.

Last year, Pisani earned No. 1 national rankings in the all-around and on floor, was a first-team All-American in the all-around, on floor and beam, and a second-teamer on bars, and led the Razorbacks to the first No. 1 national ranking in program history.

Arkansas earned an NCAA Regional bid for the ninth straight year, advanced to the NCAA Championship for the sixth time in seven years and earned a spot in the Super Six for the second time in four years. Pisani set a school record with a 9.975 on floor, and tied the records of 9.95 on bars, 9.95 on beam and 39.725 in the all-around, which was the best mark in the nation last year.

In addition, she was named a Scholastic All-American by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women, and earned NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women's Enhancement, and NCAA Winter Sports post-graduate scholarships.
