Third intrasquad highlights online

FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas' gymnastics team held its third intrasquad meet of the fall last weekend and video highlights are now available.

The Razorbacks, who reached the Super Six last year and have finished in the top 10 four times in the last five seasons, have been training in the Huntley Gymnastics Training Facility in preparation for the Jan. 11 season-opener against Georgia in Barnhill Arena.

The intrasquad video includes highlights on all four events.

Vault footage includes junior Bailee Zumwalde, freshman Heather Elswick, junior Stephani Canizaro, senior Jordan Salsberg, senior Amy Borsellino and junior Katherine Grable.

Uneven bars routines were performed by Salsberg, Elswick, Grable, junior Shelby Salmon, Canizaro, Borsellino and freshman Erin Freier.

The order on beam was Borsellino, Freier, Salsberg, Salmon, freshman Sydnie Dillard, Grable and Canizaro.

Footage on floor included Zumwalde, Canizaro, Elswick, Dillard, Borsellino, Grable and Salsberg.

Junior Scarlett Williams, a regular in the lineup on vault, beam and floor last year, was recently injured in practice and is out for the season.

Co-head coaches Mark Cook and René Lyst have five All-Americans on the 2013 roster.

Borsellino and senior Kelci Lewis were All-Americans in 2011, Grable in 2011 and 2012, and Canizaro and Zumwalde in 2012.

The Razorbacks have earned a bid to an NCAA Regional nine consecutive seasons, advanced to the NCAA Championship six times in the last seven years, reached the Super Six in 2009 and 2012, and finished in the top 15 eight straight years.
