FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Thursday to discuss the Razorbacks' upcoming game against the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. on CBS.
“Michigan is one of the better teams in the country.” Anderson said. "It will be a great chance to see us against an outstanding team."
Anderson spoke about what he expected of the Razorbacks (4-3) coming into the matchup against Michigan on the road. He talked about the ability of Arkansas compete on the road and then answered some questions about Marshawn Powell and DeQuavious Wagner.
Anderson also discussed playing Michigan on the road in their first true road test of the season.
“I think it’s one of the ultimate challenges,” Anderson said. “You are playing a potential Final Four team, and you are playing them in their place.”
The Razorbacks will take the court on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT in Ann Arbor, Mich., when they take on the third-ranked Wolverines in the Crisler Center. The game will be televised on CBS.
