FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Thursday to discuss the Razorbacks' upcoming game against the Alcorn State Braves scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. on RSN.
“It will be nice for our guys to get back on the hardwood after playing a Michigan team that was very good,” Anderson said.
Anderson spoke about what he expected of the Razorbacks (4-4) coming into the matchup against Alcorn State. He talked about the ability of the Arkansas bench to contribute to the team, and then answered some questions about Anthlon Bell and Fred Gulley.
Anderson also discussed Alcorn State and what he expected to see from the Braves on Saturday.
“It's a team that is going to come in and they are going to battle,"Anderson said. "They have nothing to lose and everything to gain."
The Razorbacks will take the court on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena, when they take on Alcorn State. The game will be televised on RSN.
