FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas' gymnastics team has added to its roster with the addition of Keara Glover of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Glover is a Level 10 Junior Olympic national qualifier, and has won multiple Region 10 and Oklahoma state titles, and will be eligible for the 2013 season. She competed for Dynamo Gymnastics in Oklahoma City and attended Putnam North High School.

At the 2011 national championship meet, Glover tied for seventh in the country on bars and tied for 19th on beam. At the 2010 national meet, she tied for fourth on bars and tied for eighth on vault.

"We are very happy to welcome Keara to our team," co-head coach Mark Cook says. "She will make an immediate impact this season. She is a very good athlete and has great lines while performing."

In the 2011 Region 3 meet, Glover won all-around and beam titles, was third on bars, fourth on floor and sixth on vault. In the 2010 region meet, she won all-around, bars and beam championships.

Over the last three years, Glover has won 10 Oklahoma state titles. In 2012, she won all-around, bars and beam titles, and was third on floor and fourth on vault. In 2011, she won all-around, bars and beam, and was second on floor and fourth on vault. In 2010, she won all-around, vault, beam and floor.

During the 2011 regular season, she also won all-around titles at the WOGA Classic and the Metroplex Challenge, where she also won floor. Glover was second in the all-around, on floor and beam at the Lady Luck Invitational, and second on vault in the Metroplex meet.

Glover is the fifth newcomer for the Razorbacks this season, joining freshmen Sydnie Dillard, Heather Elswick, Erin Freier and Lillian Hardin.

The Razorbacks, who are coming off a national sixth-place finish and their second Super Six in four years, are led by five All-Americans. Junior Katherine Grable is a four-time All-American with first-team honors on beam and second-team on vault in 2012, and first-team on floor and second-team on vault in 2011. Senior Amy Borsellino was a first-team All-American on vault and senior Kelci Lewis a second-teamer on floor in 2011. Junior Bailee Zumwalde and sophomore Stephani Canizaro were second-team All-Americans on floor in 2012.

Arkansas is holding an open intrasquad meet in Barnhill Arena on Friday at 5 p.m. The Razorbacks open the season on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. against No. 11 Georgia.
