Schedule Change for Arkansas Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE - As a result of the severe weather, dates and times for the Arkansas Invitational have been changed. Arkansas will still open its 2013 home schedule on Friday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. against the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Arkansas' second game of the tournament will now be played on Saturday Feb. 23 at 12:30 p.m. against Murray State. The Hogs' third home game of the season will be at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday versus Saint Louis University. All games after round-robin play will now take place on Sunday, Feb. 24. The first semifinal game will take place at 9:00 a.m. with the second semifinal game following game one. Arkansas is required to play in the second semifinal game, regardless of record in round-robin play. Seeding will be based upon record in round-robin play. In the event of a tie in round robin play, head-to-head record will be used.

The consolation game of the Arkansas Invitational is slated to begin at 3 p.m. and the championship game will follow on Sunday. The full Arkansas Invitational schedule is as follows:

Friday, February 22
12:30 p.m. Saint Louis vs. Murray State
3:00 p.m.  ULM vs. Arkansas

Saturday, February 23
10:00 a.m. ULM vs. Saint Louis
12:30 p.m. Murray State vs. Arkansas
3:00 p.m.  Murray State vs. ULM
5:30 p.m. Saint Louis vs. Arkansas

Sunday, February 24
9:00 a.m.  Semifinal (Does not include Arkansas)
11:30 a.m. Semifinal (Includes Arkansas)
2:00 p.m.  Consolation game (losers of semifinal games)*
4:30 p.m.  Championship game (winners of semifinal games)*

*Because of the revised tournament schedule, and the distance traveled by Murray State, the Racers will be playing in the 2:00 p.m. Sunday game whether they are in the consolation game or in the championship game.
