Arkansas went 1-1 on the week, losing on the road at LSU, 65-60, before defeating the Kentucky Wildcats at home, 73-60 ... Arkansas’ victory against Kentucky was its eighth conference home win of the season which is just the fourth time in school history that Arkansas has been 8-0 at home in league play since joining the SEC for the 1991-92 season (1992, 1994, 1998) ... the eight straight conference home wins matches the fourth longest in Razorback history and is the longest since the 2006 and 2007 teams won eight straight ... Arkansas has won 13 straight games at Bud Walton Arena, the longest streak since winning 17 straight last season and the sixth longest in school history ... Arkansas is 4-4 against teams with an RPI in the top 50 (Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky) and 6-9 against the RPI top 100 ... junior Coty Clarke posted his first career double-double against Kentucky when he scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against the Wildcats; for the week Clarke averaged 10.5 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting 60 percent from the field and 89 percent from the charity stripe ... junior Marshawn Powell moved into 23rd on Arkansas’ all-time scoring list this week and now has 1,251 career points ... the Razorbacks continue to lead the SEC in turnover margin and rank No. 2 in the league in assists, steals and assist-turnover ratio for all games played and lead the league in turnover margin for SEC only statistics ... looking back to the national statistics released on Feb. 24, the Razorbacks rank No. 3 nationally in turnover margin and among the top 25 in the national statistics in steals per game, assist-turnover ratio and assists per game ... with the Razorbacks’ win against Kentucky, Arkansas improved to 33-4 (.891) in Fayetteville with Mike Anderson as head coach, the best percentage by an Arkansas head coach since Eddie Sutton in the early 80s ... for the season Arkansas has forced teams into 511 turnovers (17.6 per game) and turned those into 613 points (21.1 per game) ... Arkansas is 6-2 in the months of February and March after going a combined 14-28 over the last four seasons in those months ... Arkansas returns to the court on Tuesday, March 5, when it travels to Missouri for a 6 p.m. game before returning to Bud Walton Arena to conclude the regular season at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 9.
