Arkansas went 1-1 on the week, losing on the road at Missouri, 93-63, before defeating the Texas A&M Aggies at home, 73-62 ... the Razorbacks’ 10-8 conference record earned the Razorbacks the No. 7 seed at the Southeastern Conference tournament ... Arkansas’ victory against Texas A&M was its ninth conference home win of the season which is the first time in school history that the Razorbacks have won nine conference home games and just the fourth time in school history that Arkansas has completed an undefeated home conference record since joining the SEC for the 1991-92 season (1992, 1994, 1998, 2013) ... the Razorbacks’ 17 home wins matches Arkansas’ school record which it set last year ... the nine straight conference home wins is the fourth longest in Razorback history and is the longest since the 1997 and 1998 teams won 12 straight ... Arkansas has won 14 straight games at Bud Walton Arena, the longest streak since winning 17 straight last season and the sixth longest in school history ... Arkansas is 3-4 against teams with an RPI in the top 50 (Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri) and 7-9 against the RPI top 100 ... sophomore BJ Young posted his ninth 20-point game of the season at Missouri when he scored 27 on 11-of-18 shooting including four three-point baskets and three assists ... freshman Michael Qualls averaged 10.5 points last week and 2.5 rebounds, hitting 54.5 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the free throw line ... junior Marshawn Powell moved into 22nd on Arkansas’ all-time scoring list this week and now has 1,270 career points ... the Razorbacks continue to lead the SEC in turnover margin and also lead the league in steals; Arkansas also ranks No. 2 in the league in assists and assist-turnover ratio for all games played and lead the league in turnover margin for SEC only statistics ... looking back to the national statistics released on March 3, the Razorbacks rank No. 3 nationally in turnover margin and among the top 25 in the national statistics in steals per game ... with the Razorbacks’ win against Texas A&M, Arkansas improved to 34-4 (.894) in Fayetteville with Mike Anderson as head coach, the best percentage by an Arkansas head coach since Eddie Sutton in the early 80s ... for the season Arkansas has forced teams into 549 turnovers (17.7 per game) and turned those into 647 points (20.9 per game) ... Arkansas is 7-3 in the months of February and March after going a combined 14-28 over the last four seasons in those months ... Arkansas returns to the court on Thursday, March 14, when it travels to the SEC Tournament in Nashville, Tenn., to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores at 6:30 p.m.
